Carrie Seits, business office manager for Life Care Center of McMinnville, Oregon, was named Business Office Manager of the Year for the Life Care Centers of America’s Columbia Region in July 2015.
The award was announced during the annual Business Office Manager Meeting at the company’s Northwest Division office. It is given to the BOM in each of Life Care’s regions who best demonstrates outstanding qualities in several areas, including working with staff and residents’ families.
Though Seits was unable to attend the meeting due to travels, she was presented the award upon her return.
“I enjoy working for Life Care,” said Seits. “I enjoy working with the staff and helping the residents and their families understand their insurance coverage.”
Seits was selected for the award from all the business office managers in Life Care’s Columbia Region, which encompasses 11 facilities in Oregon, Washington and Utah. She has been with Life Care for 12 years, working in payroll for seven years and the last five years as BOM.
“The business office is a very important component to the success of our facility and Carrie is well deserving,” said Sara Whitfield, executive director if Life Care Center of McMinnville. “I am impressed by Carrie’s dedication to her work and the facility and how much pride she takes in it all. She is a leader in our building, and I can count on her to lead the team in my absence.”
